Lana'i

A dainty, light-footed box spring bed – quite a change from the traditional models with their hulking, rococo forms. And it came from a simple design idea: a lean silhouette with an extra-thin frame. All complemented by a delicate headboard, its circumference punctuated by double piping in a contrasting color. The special seamwork highlights the contours even further.

Lānaʻi is one of the eight main volcanic Hawaiian Islands. In the Hawaiian language, the name probably means "day conquest". The island is 29 km long and up to 21 km wide. The surface area is 364 km². The highest elevation is the 1030 m high Lānaʻihale in the southeast of the island
