A facelift for the Garbo gourmet restaurant

We had the privilege of carrying out a special showcase project for the gourmet restaurant Garbo in Eggenstein-Leopoldshafen. The restaurant’s cozy dining room was in need of a comprehensive makeover—with the goal of creating a space that reflects the restaurant’s culinary signature through its atmosphere. From the initial concept through the planning of a holistic interior design to the custom furniture design, the dining room was completely reimagined and renovated. The result is an ambiance that combines modern elegance with cozy warmth and now awaits the arrival of many guests.

With Michelin-starred chef Marcel Kazda at the helm, Garbo has a head chef and managing director who not only has a flair for extraordinary flavors but also for fine craftsmanship and creative design. His philosophy: The ambiance should complement what he serves on the plate. Because at Garbo, it’s not just about the food—Marcel Kazda treats his guests to profound culinary experiences that nourish the soul. This approach should also be reflected in the space. The result is an atmosphere brimming with coziness and character: a place that suits regional classics just as well as creative fine dining.
